My opinion about a news of the Genome Editing
I read this news, http://www.technologyreview.com/featuredstory/526511/genome-editing/ in order to be informed of current medicine.
I think it's very impressive that currently can mold the DNA in such a way as to be expected, although I bother some that experiment with animals, as it says they are well looked after by professional trainers and that leaves me in a way quiet.
One can not imagine that level could get medicine if it continues to evolve gradually as seen in recent years, and one wonders if immortality is possible and something that would bring problems.

Abortion: Is it good or bad?

The way I see, abortion is better if you really want to appreciate life, because the law against abortion that really suffer are moms always thinking about what is coming to the new life they are breeding, which can be psychologically harmed by the being born of rape, the burden of killing his own mother at birth or just living abandoned by parents who could not take care.
In the first place, many women die every year in our country because they have to attend clandestine hospitals where people do not respect the minimun levels of hygiene. For example, in Universidad Diego Portales estimates around 70.000 clandestine occur every year in Chile.
Thus, a nonviable fetus can cause the death of the mother at birth or during pregnancy either by blood or Incompatibility .Baby deformities that may complicate pregnancy so that the mother dies of bleeding. For intance gather information in 2009, there were 43 maternal deaths and 253,574 live births, with a maternal mortality ratio of 16.9 / 100,000 live births.
On the other hand, no one has the right to decide if someone has to live or die, which like legalizing the death penalty and all this church does not look good, so we should really ask us, what is life?. Such as said Husbun from the independent democratic union (UDI), "what their are trying to do is legalize the death penalty for innocent children and find the easy way out".
In conclusion, it is better to address the issue of abortion in a more scientific way and save the lives of mothers in danger daily with clandestine abortions, nonviable fetuses, among other things. Instead of actually believe that lives are killing now abort if we can not give a clear answer to the question, what is life?
